Frickers, Christmas is here.
It's totally Christmas time. People are calling in sick like crazy and the kids are starting to sing Christmas carols really, really poorly.
It'll be funny for about 2, 3, more days, but not on the 24th of December -- which I'll be working, by the way.
And TIM hasn't gotten sick yet, because when he feels it coming, he follows his mother's advice.... Drink orange juice! Go to bed!
A kid wrote in his book yesterday that the flood "frickered" everything up. What a good word.
-----------
* Did I mention that I'm in a super good mood.

Vacationing in Bowmanville
I was looking at hotels online and decided to look into a vacation in Bowmanville, Ontario. Unfortunately, there's only one hotel advertised on expedia.ca, and it seems a little pricey.
$73.33 for a 1-and-a-half star hotel?
I'm looking at 3-stars in Beijing for half that price. What's the deal?
On the other hand, who wants to see the Great Wall or Tiananemen Square when you can see...
NEARBY POINTS OF INTEREST:
Downtown Bowmanville - 1 km (0.5 mi)
Lake Ontario - 1.5 km (1 mi)
Bowmanville Zoological Park - 5 km (3 mi)
Jungle Cat World - 16 km (10 mi)
Mosport International Raceway - 20 km (12.5 mi)
Cullen Gardens - 29 km (18 mi)
You can even fly through the following airports...

Internet goes from 0 to 1
Finally, I can check my e-mail without going to work or sitting outside.
Here's some pictures of my apartment. I know you probably don't care, unless you're my mom.
Hi Mom.
It's pretty big. I have a dance floor in the middle. I dance to Talk Talk songs. Talk Talk made good music. The 1980's were awesome.
So far, I have TV and phone still hooked up from the last person in the apartment. Unless I screw it up somehow, it's cheap enough to keep both.
Oh, and the kitchen and laundry stuff are hidden behind that steam glass window. I don't have a view this year, unless a view of another apartment building counts as a view, and then I have a view.
Here's the ultra cramped kitchen and laundry area. I can slide the doors right to make food and left to do the laundry. The double steam glass windows from the outside and then in the room seem to be better insulation than I originally guessed. We'll see though.
Anyways. That's my apartment. It's probably nicer than last year, except for the lack of a view. But now I can watch the Discovery Channel at night, Larry Kudlow in the morning, and various Korean dramas in between.

Still no internet
So I moved into a nicer apartment, but the internet doesn't work.... Boo.
Oh, I have a phone number now, so if you want to call me, send an e-mail for it.
